Rubenstein traces how the American experiment, in all its promise and imperfection, has evolved over the past 250 years. David M. Rubenstein, co-founder and co-executive chairman of the Carlyle Group, is the author of The American Experiment: Dialogues on a Dream and the host of History with David Rubenstein on PBS. Louise Mirrer (moderator) is president and CEO of the New-York Historical Society.
*Each in-person program ticket includes a copy of The American Experiment: Dialogues on a Dream by David M. Rubenstein. Audience members are invited to pick up their copy at the program registration desk, which will be located next to the main entrance of the Robert H. Smith Auditorium. Books must be picked up in person the evening of the program and will not be mailed.

STANDBY TICKETS FOR IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE
The in-person program has reached capacity. There will be a standby line the evening of the program. One hour before the program begins, we will begin handing out standby numbers with members receiving priority. Shortly before the program begins, we would begin selling tickets if we are able to do so. Standby does not guarantee admission.
Advance purchase is required to guarantee seating. All sales are final; refunds and exchanges not permitted. Programs and dates may be subject to change. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to latecomers.
