Description:
Mahogany writing desk with incised and gilded decoration; case with green linen-lined writing surface (probably not original) and two side-by-side drawers with brass ring pulls; raised on tapering squared legs joined by side, rear, and medial stretchers, with rear and medial stretchers joined by shaped horizontal panel; with separate unit containing two center drawers flanked by quarter-round side drawers below lift-top with curving profile designed to rest on rear desktop.
