Description:
Tinned and varnished sheet iron oval tray with one arm which holds a circular scalloped piece and another arm which holds a magnifying glass in a circular scalloped frame.
Gallery Label:
According to the donor, "this watch stand probably belonged to Joshua Brooks who came to the U.S. in 1797; a candle probably sat in the tray."
