Description:
Double-breasted waistcoat with polka-dot white silk moiré front panels; small rolled collar dropped into ovoid lapels over two sets of three silk cover buttons; three pockets, one at the breast and two at the waistline; white cotton lining and back panel.
Gallery Label:
This waistcoat was worn by Charles Stout, grandfather of the donor, at a ball given for the Prince of Wales (Edward VII), at the New York Academy of Music.
