Description:
Colorless blown glass vase; baluster shape with flaring rim; decorated with paper decals of floral and mythological images applied from inside; interior painted green. Base with push up and pontil mark.

This decal-decorated vase, one of a pair, is an example of a late-nineteenth-century woman's hobby known as "potichomanie."
