Description:
Wood, iron, and brass miquelet lock carbine; simple brass sheet trigger guard and barrel band; ball-shaped trigger; brass ramrod pipe; thin brass wire wrapped around middle of barrel; sling ring on left side of stock; wooden ramrod.

Soon after its emergence in Spain during the 1620's, the miquelet became the standard lock used on Spanish muskets and rifles for the next two centuries.
