Description: 
A black woven silk ribbon with fine gold top and bottom border lines and a half red and half gold flag with a gold border and a black, red and gold castle crest in the gold upper section above the word "Memel" in gold. Memel was formerly a German free territory on the Baltic Sea but is currently a part of modern day Lithuania. One in a series of collectible ribbons featuring Flags and Standards of the World. Given as a collectible premium by cigarette manufacturers, a paper label on the reverse reads "The American Tobacco Co., Inc./ New York".
