Wrought silver teapot; oval boat-shaped body; gadrooning around the lower body; set on an oval stepped base joined to the body by an oval pedestal; applied, vertical die-rolled foliate band footring; applied, egg and dart band around the pedestal; applied, die rolled foliated band below the stepped convex shoulder; applied, vertical die-rolled foliate band rim; hinged, oval domed lid with a hollow cast floral finial; scrolled handle, cast in two vertical halves, with scrolled handle sockets which are fitted with ivory insulators; cast and seamed s-curve spout; engraved, "RJR" in bright-cut script on the center; maker's marks on the base.
