Description:
One of a group of 12 porcelain tea cups with fissure pattern in red on peach-colored ground; border with stylized plant motif in gilding on white ground on rims of teacups; cups have monogram in gilding; gilding on cup handles and on cups.
Gallery Label:
The coat of arms represents the Beekman family ;the set was most likely made for Isaac Beekman Cox (1780-1846) and Cornelia Beekman, who were married December 14, 1805.
