Description:
Rectangular mahogany Chippendale-style table with marble top; apron carved and parcel-gilded with a tassel motif; cabriole legs with carved knees terminating in parcel-gilded ball-and-claw feet; white marble tabletop with notched edge.
Gallery Label:
The side rails of this table are dowelled together, suggesting that it may be a late nineteenth-century reproduction in the earlier Chippendale style.
