Description:
Sword with straight, single-edged steel blade with three-quarter length fuller and etched designs on obverse and reverse; brass half-basket hilt with blank shield incorporated into openwork design on obverse side and short quillon with disk finial; grips covered in gray fish skin and wrapped with wire; stepped oval pommel with ball finial and backstrap with molded loops and chevrons; ferrule at base of grips; white metal scabbard with brass mounts consisting of upper band with carrying ring, middle band with carrying ring, and tip with asymmetrical drag.
