Description:
Sword (hanger) with curved, single-edged steel blade with a broad full-length fuller and inscription, "GOD BLESS THE PROVINCE OF NEW YORK," on obverse and reverse; wooden grip wrapped with five turns of wire; brass ball pommel and brass ferrule at base of grip; counter-guard and knuckle-bow missing.
