Description:
Wrought silver sugar bowl with lid; circular body on a circular molded and stepped pedestal; vertically applied, stamped scallop band around the top of the pedestal and the footring; body incurved to an applied chased and repousséd thistle band; convex shoulder with a vertically applied stamped scallop rim; circular lid, flat at the edges and raised to a dome in the center; applied, cast and chased dolphin finial; two cast squared strap handles; engraved on the front center, "E S H" in bright-cut script; maker's mark on the base.
