Description:
Elaborately carved snuffbox with hinged lid; central carving on lid is a medallion with a man and a woman standing, facing one another holding sheaves of wheat; the medallion is surrounded by stylized foliate decorations; a medallion on the bottom of the box depicts a man's head in profile; the sides of the box have attached, carved protrusions with foliate decoration.
