Description:
Shelf clock in tall wooden case; square lower section with bracket feet and bands of satinwood inlay, and rectangular upper section with door with arch-shaped glass window revealing painted wooden dial; floral sprays below dial on either side of oval medallion with inscription.
Gallery Label:
Russell Cheney, son of Benjamin Cheney of East Hartford, Connecticut, moved to Woodstock after 1800.
