Description: 
Silver serving spoon and fork in the "Rosette" pattern with upturned threaded handles with trefoil ends, shield and scroll tips and rosette stem center; handles engraved "MAB" in script; fork has shallow bowl and three pointed tines with a pointed foliate drop at the reverse; spoon has an angular shell bowl with pointed foliate drop at reverse; makers' and retailer's hallmarks stamped along the undersides of the handles.

These serving spoon and fork were given to Marie Antoinette Baker, the donor's mother, on the ocassion of her marrige to Fellows Davis in 1871.
