Description:
One of a group of 15 porcelain saucers with fissure pattern in red on peach-colored ground; border with stylized plant motif in gilding on white ground on rims of saucers; saucers have coat of arms at center; gilding on saucer rims.
Gallery Label:
The coat of arms represents the Beekman family; this set most likely was made for Isaac Beekman Cox (1780-1846) and Cornelia Beekman, who were married December 14, 1805.
