Description:
Colorless pressed glass plate with alternating hearts and sheaves on rim and concentric bands of diamond and waffle patterning surrounding strawberry diamonds in center.
Gallery Label:
Fragments of this heart design were found at the site of the Sandwich glass factory; it seems to be one of the earliest pressed patterns (see "American and European Pressed Glass," p. 76).
