Description:
Pair of silver plate salt spoons with upturned oval handles engraved, "D" in gothic script; pointed, pear-shaped bowls with squared sides; maker's marks stamped on the undersides of the bases.

These salt spoons were given to Marie Antoinette Baker Davis on the occassion of her marriage to Fellows Davis October 17, 1871.
