Three superimposed woven silk political ribbons, in red, white, and blue, joined at back; with metal pin attached at top of back and scalloped gilt metallic thread galloon at upper edge; inscription printed on top red ribbon in gold: "BUSINESS MEN'S/DEMOCRATIC ASS'N/NOV. 2ND 1898/Van Wyck/AND/VICTORY."
