Description:
Carved horn powder horn with wooden cover at one end with arched metal wire at the center; opposite end is beveled all around, spout has knob.
Gallery Label:
According to the accession record, this powder horn may have belonged to Israel Putnam (1718-1790), although powder horn scholar William Guthman doubts this assertion.
