Description:
Carved horn powder horn with wooden cover at one end, nail secures a piece of leather fragment at the center; horn incised throughout with images of a town, hunting, and ships sailing; spout end is carved with a rib.
Gallery Label:
This powder horn was used by Henry McNeel of Totowa, New Jersey. He was a private in the New Jersey militia, and later served in the Continental Army from Huntersdon, New Jersey.
