Description:
Leaded glass and bronze " Poppy" floor lampshade; 26" diameter globe-shaped shade depicting oriental poppies in three repeats; apron with three rows of rectangles interspersed with orange-green stems and leaves of green fractured glass; upper portion of shade filled with poppy blossoms in every stage of development, ranging from pink through crimson red and rendered in mottled, striated, undulating, and configurated glass; fractured glass background. Shown on standard bronze floor lamp base (N84.107.2), with cap (N84.107.3).
