Description:
Colorless cut lead glass plate; circular form with curved sides, scalloped rim and flat bottom; rim cut with strawberry diamonds and fan motifs, sloping sides cut with panels, bottom cut with square strawberry diamonds.

According to the accession records, this object belonged to either Abigail Cornell (1766-1854) who married New York leather merchant Israel Corse in 1810, or to Angeline Burr, wife of Morris Ketchum (1796-1880).
