Description:
Roughly square earthenware plate with slightly serpentine sides and scalloped corners; center with green transfer-printed image of rear porch of Mount Vernon with two standing male figures (identified as George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette) at center, with seated women and children surrounding; flower and scroll pattern on rim.
