Description:
Iron and silver flintlock pistol; iron stock with ramrod and pistol flint; thistle trigger; silver oval inlaid on right butt engraved with female figure leaning on sword and holding severed head in other hand; silver oval on left butt engraved with illegible inscription; silver scrolls inlaid into stock top.

According to accession records, this Scottish Highlander pistol was ploughed up at Fort Washington in 1845.
