Description:
A beige pinback button printed with a state seal, crest, symbol or motto from U.S. states and territories; marked "Michigan", with an eagle over antlered elk flanking a shield with a lighthouse on a lakeshore over a banner in Latin "Si Quaeris Peninsulam/ Amoenam Circumspice". Part of a series of pre-World War I United States state buttons; some of the region names are no longer current. This button was part of a series of collectible premiums given by tobacco and gum manufacturers.
