Description: 
Steel, wood, and brass percussion dueling pistol; octagon barrel with rear sight on tang; plated brass trigger guard, wedge estucheons, and nosecap; saw-handle-shaped frame with checkered bag handle; engraved peacocks and floral designs on lockplate; engraved scrolls on fish-shaped hammer; stamped marks behind hammer near tail of lockplate and on barrel.
