Description:
Pair of gold and enamel earrings comprising roundel with dark and light blue enamel in concentric circles surrounding central gold foliate motif; French ear-wires; surmounting detachable tri-partite oval element of similar design, here with central pearl motifs; attached to roundel by 3 gold flat-lined chains; oval element supports swagged chain and 2 gold balls; rectangular black leather case lined with ivory satin; inside bottom of case lift up to reveal another compartment, containing ivory thimble, cotton wool, 11 gold balls, an obituary and the Lord's Prayer in miniature; hinged rotating hook closure.
