Cream silk satin ribbon printed in black; depicts portrait of Lincoln within oval medallion flanked by six American flags; eagle holding serpent and laurel branch beneath; winged figure of Fame on either side of medallion; figure of Liberty at center; inscription: "A Nation's Loss/DIED APRIL 15, 1865."; all within printed black frame.
