Description:
Aluminum struck medal with obverse showing Statue of Liberty surrounded by stars, with inscription: "1776 1976/LIFE LIBERTY AND THE/PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS." Reverse contains the Great Seal with surrounding legend: "AMERICAN REVOLUTION BICENTENNIAL/WE THE PEOPLE." Medal is sealed inside of circular plastic case and set into black rectangular case with fitted white silk satin and black silk velvet interior.
