Description:
Leaded glass and bronze "Nasturtium" table lampshade with mosaic and turtleback tile base; 23" diameter globe-shaped shade with incurving apron depicting nasturtium blossoms; blossoms rendered in mottled yellow, mottled orange, streaked red and streaked pink, with rippled glass used for pink and red blossoms and undulating glass used for orange blossoms; stems are brownish-green; foliage of green mottled glass; background translucent mottled pink with ridges. Shown on bronze table lamp base (N84.106.2); flared stem has 16 strips of mosaic inlay ranging in color from green to red; 8 green turtlebacks set into sides of central section above stem; 4 curved arms stretch outward to receive rim of shade; with cap (N84.106.3).
