Rectangular cream-colored ribbon with colored embroidery and tapered end. Central image of an eagle holding a scroll reading "E PLURIBUS UNUM" above a framed portrait of Abraham Lincoln. Above the portrait reads "ASSASSINATED AT WASHINGTON/14 APRIL 1865/I HAVE SAID NOTHING BUT WHAT I AM/WILLING TO LIVE BY, AND IF IT BE THE/PLEASURE OF ALMIGHTY GOD, TO DIE BY./(A LINCOLN)". Below the portrait, above two American flags, "THE LATE/Lamented/President/Lincoln"
