Bronze struck medal with obverse bearing nude laureated bust of Louis XV facing right; legend: "LUD . XV . REX CHRISTIANISS." Reverse depicts standing female figure draped in animal skin, holding cornucopia; sailing ship in background; legend above: "AUCTA LIBYCIS OPIBUS MASSILIA"; inscription in exergue: "LUD XV.ARMIS ET CONSILIIS/MDCCLXXIV."
