Description:
British twopenny piece, commonly referred to as "cartwheel"; round struck copper coin with obverse showing laureated draped bust of George III with legend around line border: "GEORGIUS III . D: G. REX." Reverse shows allegorical figure of England, seated upon sea waves with sailing ship in distant background at left; legend around line border: "BRITANNIA./1797." Coin is inset into round cardboard box, not original to the piece.
