Bronze struck medal, with obverse showing clothed bust-length portrait of a man holding a rifle with American flag in the background; legend: "VERMONT SESQUICENTENNIAL." Reverse shows small building surrounded by laurel wreath with legend: "HERRICK/FAY//HUBBEL/SAFFORN//FILLMORE/BRUSH//ALLEN//JEWETT/GALVSHA//CLARK/ALBRIGHT//ROBINSON/DEWEY//WARNER/STARK" and with inscription below, center: "FAY'S TAVERN/AUG 16"; legend with stars separating text: "BATTLE OF BENNINGTON/1777-1927." White rectangular cloth-bound case.
