Brass struck medal with obverse showing clothed bust of Lincoln facing right in central roundel; legend around border: "ABRAHAM LINCOLN FOR PRESIDENT/1864." Reverse depicts oval shiels inscribed "US" at center, flanked by military trophies and American flags and surmounted by eagle.
