Silver struck octagonal medal with obverse showing clothed bust of Louis XVI, King of France, with legend: "LUDOV.XVI.FR. ET NAVAR.REX." Reverse depicts French royal coat of arms surmounted by crown and flanked by two figures; inscription in exergue: "COMP. DES INDES/MDCCLXXXV."
