Silvered bronze struck medal with obverse showing accolated busts of King Albert and Queen Elizabeth facing left; scroll enclosing seal of the American Numismatic Society beneath is inscribed: "FORTISSIMI.SUNT.BELGAE"; legend around border: "KING ALBERT AND QUEEN ELIZABETH OF THE BELGIANS." Reverse depicts plane flying above water, surrounded by legend: "COMMEMORATING.THEIR.AERIAL.CROSSING.OF.THE.ENGLISH.
