Copperplate-printed cotton campaign kerchief from the 1848 Zachary Taylor presidential campaign; central profile portrait of Taylor surrounded by four vignettes of his successful War campaigns (Palo Alto, Buena Vista, Resaca de la Palma, Monterey) and four images of battlefield accoutrements: a tent, cannonballs, a cannon, and a drum; striped background, garland border; printed in sepia and tan ink on a white ground.
