Description:
Blue wool and white cotton double-weave jacquard coverlet composed of two vertical sections hand-sewn together; scrolling vines and scattered eight-pointed stars on dotted ground at center, with plain stripe across top and bottom and on either side; woven inscription within one side stripe.

According to the accession records, this coverlet descended through the family of Mrs. Tarrant Putnam (nee Woodhull), who gave it to the donor.
