Gilt bronze struck medal with obverse showing accolated busts of Henry Hudson and Robert Fulton facing left with vertical legend: "HUDSON/FULTON." Reverse depicts enthroned allegorical female figure with eagle above and inscription below seat: "NEWBURGH", surrounded by seascape with sailing ships and steamboats.
