Bronze struck medal with obverse showing clothed facing bust of Herbert Hoover with legend: "HERBERT HOOVER." Reverse contains blank space at center flanked by fasces. Medal is inset into cream-colored square cardboard box.

Companion to a medal depicting Alfred E. Smith. Both were candidates for the U.S. Presidency in 1928.
