This plaster is a patinated full size unique cast of the head of Jose de Creeft's monumental bronze, Alice in Wonderland. The sculpture has been an icon of Central Park since its installation in 1959. Alice's features are a combination of Sir John Tenniel's illustrations of Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" and de Creeft's own then-8-year-old daughter, Donna Marie.
