Gilt copper struck medal with obverse showing clothed male bust facing left, enclosed within ornate surround flanked by monograms "MDA," at left, and "YCS," at right; date below: "1870." Reverse depicts trefoil containing inscription: " PUT ON/THE/WHOLE ARMOR/OF/GOD." Hole punched at center top.
