Bronze struck medal with obverse showing draped bust of Washington facing left with legend: "GEORGE WASHINGTON." Reverse depicts building amidst trees with inscription in exergue: "RESIDENCE OF WASHINGTON/MOUNT VERNON, VIRGINIA."
