Hand- and machine-sewn wool U.S. flag with 34 white cotton stars in the canton; thirteen red and white stripes.
Gallery Label: 
This U.S. flag was made by the donor's grandmother, Hannah Maria Dean. It was hung from her home on West 38th Street during the funeral procession of Abraham Lincoln. She made the flag because she was unable to purchase one.
