Black painted tin trumpet with gold painted inscription on rim of flared bell; red paint on inside of mouthpiece and on inside of bell.

Zophar Mills (1809-1887) served as Assistant Engineer of the New York Volunteer Fire Dept. from 1838 to 1842.
