Description:
Wrought silver finger bowl; circular, bowl-shaped body with flared side repoussé chased in high relief with birds perched among ferns and oak leaves; scalloped rim; gilt interior; lightly gadrooned footring; base engraved, "C C S" in foliate script; makers' marks on the base.

Wedding gift to Mr. & Mrs. John Shults, Jr. in 1883. They are listed in Tiffany pattern books as, "Finger Bowl Fern to go with Dessert Plate."
