Bronze struck plaquette with shoulder-length portrait of Edward Bartlett facing left; inscription in exergue flanked by two shields decorated with attributes of drawing and engraving: "IN COMMEMORATION OF/FIFTY YEARS OF DEVOTION BY/EDWARD EVERETT BARTLETT/TO THE/ADVANCEMENT OF THE GRAPHIC ARTS/THIS MEDAL IS ISSUED/BY HIS ASSOCIATES AND FRIENDS/SEPTEMBER FIRST MCMXXVI." Reverse depicts figure of man transferring drawing onto large sheet of paper, with linotype equipment in front; inscription within ornate panel flanked by two fluted columns below exergual line: "CHAN ANN/DHUINN PHEIN/AMHAIN."
